care is an extraordinary word. short and apparently simple, it encompasses many meanings, which are inextricably linked. care from the latin cūra, curae.
the meaning changes according to the scope. its fields of application are numberless, spanning society and government, religion and architecture. cūra is concern, care, attention and – by abstraction – love. it is also administration, custodianship, ornamentation, study and curiosity. in medicine, cūra means both giving care and taking care. by no mere coincidence this important word is linked to another latin term: cor, cordis, i.e. heart. their fusion gives rise to the archaic term coira, meaning care, solicitude and medical treatment, suggesting an origin associated with deep interest and feeling.

the moodboard is the sensory origin of the project. a collection of images, materials, atmospheres and references that anticipates the character of the space and suggests its deepest intention. it is a phase of listening and vision, in which light begins to be imagined as an experience.
the concept is the generating principle of the lighting project. it may arise from a more conceptual vision, shaped by emotions, perceptions and effects, or from a more technical approach, linked to performance, function and dialogue with architecture. in any case, it defines the way light will give identity, rhythm and presence to the space.
the preliminary design translates the vision into an initial structured framework. design choices begin to take shape, the intervention logics are defined, and a balance is built between lighting quality, integration and feasibility. this is the phase in which the project acquires form, proportion and direction.
The detailed design brings every element to completion. Choices, details and solutions are defined and verified rigorously, also through the technical and architectural studies required for the integration and implementation of the project. Light thus enters a fully developed dimension, where precision and vision coincide.

iso 9001 è lo standard più conosciuto e utilizzato per i sistemi di gestione della qualità di tutto il mondo: più di un milione di aziende sono oggi certificate secondo questa norma in 170 paesi diversi. le norme della serie iso 9000 sono state definite dall'international organization for standardization per delineare i requisiti per i sistemi di gestione della qualità all’interno delle aziende. si tratta di norme generali e flessibili, applicabili ai processi e ai settori aziendali più svariati. la certificazione iso 9001 dimostra che le attività dell’impresa rispecchiano i requisiti minimi della norma iso 9001; in tal modo il cliente finale è garantito dal fatto che i servizi e i prodotti immessi sul mercato corrispondano a determinate specifiche e che tutte le fasi relative alla loro realizzazione siano ripercorribili e verificabili. questa normativa è volta al miglioramento continuo e costante dell’azienda, con obiettivo l’ottimizzazione della struttura organizzativa. si tratta di una scelta strategica per le imprese che vogliono incrementare la propria produzione, abbattere i costi, diventare più competitive sul mercato e aumentare la fidelizzazione della clientela. l’adozione della certificazione iso 9001 non è obbligatoria, ma il suo possesso sta diventando un attributo sempre più indispensabile per far fronte alle sfide del mercato.
